Vulnerability Assessments

The BLUELINE assessment team provides a detailed analysis of the vulnerabilities for identified security threats. By definition, vulnerability means, “the state of being vulnerable or exposed.  In the physical security industry, vulnerability is also defined as, “a weakness within a plan, procedure, process, or system” that could expose an asset to unwanted events, being manmade or natural disaster. The BLUELINE team will assess the identified vulnerabilities by examining several factors to include:

  1. Human Factor - Assessment of coordination and responsibilities of who does what, when, where, and how.
  2. Physical/Technological Elements - Assessment of access control, perimeter security, use of security technology, and implementation of security in layers concept.  In short, we examine total system integration.
  3. Policies and Procedures - Assessment of standard (normal) operating procedures and then of what triggers the use of emergency procedures and their effectiveness.
