Security Surveys

In the world of physical security and asset protection, there are a number of tools that can be adopted to assist the security practitioner. For organizations looking to establish a snapshot of their security profile, a security survey is a good starting point.

Most security surveys are predesigned with questions regarding specific security elements, such as use of CCTV, Access Control features, and communications to name a few. The questions are designed to be answered yes, no, or not applicable.  With this format, there is little value to the user.  Security surveys should never be used as a sole source security assessment tool.  For more information regarding the choice between security survey or physical security assessment process, please visit our resource page or click on Security Survey or Physical Security Assessment - Discovering the difference between a Security Survey and the Physical Security Assessment.
